Ian Hates Warped Tour #198

Ian Hates Warped Tour #198

Warped Tour has been a staple in the scene since before it was called a "scene". It was also one of Ian's favorite times of the year, every year. With Warped tour ending, Ian wanted to get some old favorites together to go over their different experiences at this year's final run.

A big thank you goes to everyone who's ever worked a Warped Tour date and this year, a special thank you goes to Becky for helping Ian with interviews and press. It was amazing. Warped Tour has to be the most difficult tour to put on and it's often done in extreme conditions. My hat goes off to everyone involved. Ian Hates Music will always miss Warped Tour.

Ian Hates will always be Forever Warped.

Note: Obviously, Ian jokes around on the show and this episode is no different, even though Ian truly loves Warped Tour. It was fun getting some of the guys together, but this episode doesn't always go quite as expected, haha. In fact, there's no official end and there are a couple more hours that will be released later since the guys go completely off-topic!

Also, this episode is uncensored, unedited, and comes complete with someone's dogs barking that never shut the fuck up! But, the guys wanted something rawer, something more, well, Warped, just a hangout between friends talking Warped Tour and the music they love (and some they don't, haha).

Stay tuned for more!

Long days and pleasant nights Warped Tour.

Saving Vice - Tyler Small and Chase Papariello - Ian Hates Music #196

Saving Vice - Tyler Small and Chase Papariello - Ian Hates Music #196

It's time for a very cool Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition featuring the lead vocalists of Saving Vice, Tyler Small and Chase Papariello!

It's a really exciting time for Saving Vice as their debut EP 'Colder Than Dark' came out recently, they're playing the Massachusetts date of Warped Tour, and it was just announced that they'll be playing the main stage of iMatter Festival in August!

Tyler and Chase go over what the dynamic is like for them playing live, the dual vocalist stigma in Metalcore, and a whole lot more! You won't want to miss this!

In fact, this is such a good conversation, it's only Part 1! Brief warning though, as you'll hear in the conversation, there are some phone issues. For one, there are a couple (and I mean only a couple) weird sounds at the beginning of the call, but, there's also an issue where when Ian talks, Chase and Tyler's side sounds "underwater" for a couple seconds. This is a very strange phenomenon, which has only happened once or twice in the history of Ian Hates. It's addressed during the conversation early, and Ian tries to not chime in as much, but that changes the timing of a "normal" conversation. So, for Part 2, Ian and Saving Vice are going to speak LIVE at Warped Tour! So check out Part 1 now and Part 2 will be on its' way shortly!

Follow the links below to support Tyler, Chase, and Saving Vice with everything they do:

Many thanks to Chase and Tyler for taking the time to come on Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition! Make sure to pick up their EP 'Colder Than Dark' and catch them live at Warped Tour in Mansfield, MA, and iMatter Festival! Ian will definitely be covering Warped Tour, so go join them for a great time!

Ian Hates Cole Rolland

Ian Hates Cole Rolland

The great Cole Rolland finally returns to Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition!

Cole is definitely a man that needs no introduction, but I'm going to do it anyway. I think the term "guitar god" sums up everything pretty well, haha. And, he never stops! Whether it's original music, EDM covers, rock and metal covers, and so much more! It's so rare not to see something great from him.

In this conversation Ian goes in-depth with Cole as he shares behind the scenes stories including, creating his new studio, what goes into making a guitar cover, his great relationship with Patreon, a terrible would you rather, and of course, so much more!

In another great conversation, you're going to learn a lot about Cole and interestingly enough (maybe) even a lot about Ian. Ian and Cole speak so well together, tangents are bound to happen!

Plus, Cole teases a new guitar sponsorship he talks about briefly. Since this episode was recorded before the official announcement, there's not too much he can speak about, but he has officially made the announcement, so make sure to check out the links to find out all the details!

Follow the links below to support Cole Rolland and everything he does:

Many thanks to Cole for coming on Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition again! You know how hard he works, so make sure to stay up to date with him. With all his crazy-awesome content, you definitely won't get bored!
