I Feel TRAPT in This Scene - Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

I Feel TRAPT in This Scene - Part 1 - Ian's Untitled Scene Show

IFTITS-P1.jpg

It’s time to talk scene with Ian Scene. Wow, those two things seem to go together pretty well…must not be a coincidence…

Hey, don’t bother with that gibberish. The guys felt like catching up and talking the scene and a ton of tangents as they’re known to do. But, this talk went so long I decided to cut it into parts. Part 1 deals with some covid-19 talk (obviously), A Day To Remember, the word “simp” replacing “stan", Star Wars, and much, much more!

The next parts deal with The Used, a take you’ve only heard from Ian Scene on the “Trapt situation”, and still, so much more. Make sure to look out for those!

You read that correctly. Get ready for a lot of fun, scene knowledge, and a lot of strong opinions!

TRIGGER WARNING: Do not take things Ian, Jackson, and James say seriously. Ian, Jackson, and James also wish everyone impacted by covid-19 the best and a quick recovery. Stay safe and healthy out there everyone. A lot of people’s jobs are also affected (touring personnel, restaurant and bar staff, and so many more), so help out when you have the means. None of this works to say in a comedy show, but in the description, it does.

To quote the great scene band Chuggaboom, “If you’re easily offended, here’s your trigger warning”…Learn to take many fucking jokes, life will be better for you.

The Ongoing Concept - Dawson Scholz - Part 2 - Ian Hates Music #155

The Ongoing Concept - Dawson Scholz - Part 2 - Ian Hates Music #155

Now we all know that sequels rarely live up to the original, but turns out that rule doesn't apply here and you'll see why! Get ready for The Ongoing Concept's Dawson Scholz: Reloaded...

Ian and Dawson enjoyed their first conversation so much they couldn't stop. Lucky for you, they were also recording. They continue their talk about the new The Ongoing Concept album 'Places', one of the best albums of 2017 by the way, but also skew to MANY other topics including Warped Tour, Star Wars, and much more! There are a few technical difficulties, but you'll know when and Dawson switches from wifi to phone as well. But, none of that will stop you from enjoying this great conversation!

Make sure to support Dawson and The Ongoing Concept by following the links below:

Thanks again to Dawson Scholz for coming on the show and making it two great visits! Maybe there's a third in the works...

Ghost Key - Austin O'Brien - Ian Hates Music #135

Ghost Key - Austin O'Brien - Ian Hates Music #135

Friend of the show Austin O'Brien, the vocalist of Ghost Key, returns to Ian Hates Conversations: Music Edition, but this time, it's in the Ian Hates Studios...

That's right! This conversation is live and in-person at Ian Hates Studios (Ian's apartment)! So, this may sound different from a "typical" Ian Hates Conversations/Ian Hates Music episode. Austin talks everything from the new tour with Coldfront, InVogue Records, and mental health, to how much he loves his favorite new beer Carlsberg! Will Ghost Key and Ian Hates be sponsored by Carlsberg after this episode...?

No intro. No Outro. Just two people conversing in a room.

Tune in for a first from Ian Hates!

Let Ian know you're feedback when you're done as well.

The track you hear at the end of the conversation is the title track from Ghost Key's debut album 'If I Don't Make It" on InVogue Records! Ian loves that track and that album! If you didn't know that already. Go pick it up if you haven't already.

Make sure to support Austin O'Brien and Ghost Key by following the links below:

Thanks again to Austin for coming back on the show and for braving Ian's studio to have such a great conversation! Make sure to check out Austin and Ghost Key on tour and stay tuned for new music!
