🤘 Welcome back to Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! 🤘

🎙️🔥 Strap in for a no-holds-barred scene breakdown with none other than Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio! 🔥

Just like the promo image, we’re blue-skying everything—from the scene itself to the lives of Jake and Ian. This one’s a wild mix of randomness and real talk, loaded with passionate music convo. We get into Lives Lost, Classic Jack, fallfiftyfeet, Offended By Everything, and even a little Poppy.

There’s awesome EP talk, alcohol, growing up in the scene, and the kind of honest, chaotic scene weirdness only Ian and Jake can bring.🎙️

🤘 Turn it up and enjoy the ride! 🤘

🤘 Welcome back to Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! 🤘

Guess who’s back? That’s right—Pyro, Ohio representative and friend of the show Jake Whalen returns as we continue our absolutely serious, deeply academic exploration of legendary scene labels. This time, we're diving into the one and only Fearless Records—because of course we are.

Packed with some of Ian’s favorite releases (read: emotional bangers and breakdowns that still “slap”, as the kids say), Jake and Ian unpack the glory days of Fearless. Naturally, we had to talk about the Punk Goes series—aka the magical mixtapes that introduced Ian to top 40 hits years after everyone else had already moved on.

Then, just when you thought it couldn’t get more opinionated, we hit pause for a (long) quick review of Underoath’s new album The Place After This One. Is it a bold rebirth or just more polished, mid-tier noise? We’re not saying it’s bad... but we’re also definitely saying something.

🤘 Turn it up, tune in, and prepare to roll your eyes in the best way possible 🤘

🤘 Welcome back to Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! 🤘

🎙️🔥 It’s time for Scene Stuff with Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio — where the screams are real, but the opinions are even louder. 🔥🎙️

Jake rises once again from the ashes to join Ian for a spirited séance covering all things scene. Topics include: Whitechapel’s latest slab of heaviness, Spiritbox continuing to haunt generic djent, and the possibility of Tool facing legal action for crimes against excitement. (Allegedly. Don’t sue us. Or do. We could use the press.)

But the Final Girl of this episode? A deep dive, face-first, into the three blood-soaked albums that reshaped the destiny of Ice Nine Kills. Jake and Ian hack into Every Trick In The Book, The Silver Scream, and Welcome to Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2 — exploring how these cinematic scream-fests catapulted the band from the Warped Tour pit to the horror-metal throne.

Why did this twisted transformation work? What makes it click with fans, but not quite with this show? Can puns kill? (Yes. And painfully)

Plenty of jokes, a body count of references, and more spine-tingling satire to come. Stick around — we’ll be right back…

(That’s a reference. Roll credits.)

🤘 Crank up the volume and let’s dive in! 🤘
